Terms of Use

Last updated: 7 September 2026

These terms apply whenever you use Roadpack. Using the app means you accept them.

Roadpack is published by Arjun Mishra, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Throughout this page, “Roadpack”, “we” and “us” mean that publisher.

What Roadpack is

Roadpack is a coordination app for people who are already travelling together. It shows where the vehicles in your trip are, helps the group agree on stops, and keeps a record of the drive afterwards.

Roadpack is not a navigation app and is not a substitute for one. It does not give turn-by-turn directions and it never instructs anyone to speed up, catch up, or take a particular manoeuvre. Turn-by-turn navigation is handed to Apple Maps.

Driving safely is your responsibility

You are responsible for driving safely and obeying the law wherever you are. Do not interact with Roadpack while driving. Estimated arrival times, detour figures, and vehicle positions are estimates from imperfect data, and can be wrong or out of date. Never make a driving decision that depends on them being exact.

Your account and your trips

Trip content

Photos and videos you add to a trip are visible to everyone on that trip. You keep ownership of what you add; you grant Roadpack only the licence needed to store it, show it to the people on that trip, and include it in that trip’s recap.

Acceptable use

Do not use Roadpack to:

Follow links

A trip organiser can create a link that lets someone outside the trip see where the Pack is heading and when it arrives. That page never shows who is travelling, where any individual is, or the invite code. The organiser can revoke a link at any time, and links stop working shortly after a trip ends.

Roadpack Pro

Every feature used to coordinate a trip is free and stays free. Roadpack Pro is an optional paid upgrade.

Availability

Roadpack depends on your device, your network, and third-party services including Apple Maps. It will not always be available, and features may change or be withdrawn. We may suspend or end access to anyone who breaks these terms.

Disclaimer

Roadpack is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that location and timing information will be accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Roadpack is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to Roadpack is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or ten US dollars.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep all statutory rights that cannot be waived under the law of your country of residence.

Ending your use

You can stop using Roadpack at any time by deleting your account and removing the app. Sections that by their nature should survive — ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — continue to apply after you stop.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights we will notify you in the app before it takes effect and update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Roadpack after that means the updated terms apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of British Columbia have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

If you are a consumer resident outside British Columbia, none of this removes the mandatory consumer protections of your own country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.

Apple

Apple is not a party to these terms and has no responsibility for Roadpack. Apple has no obligation to provide support for Roadpack. If Roadpack fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
